Anselm Farm
As part of our commitment to expanding services for young adults with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), we have established Anselm Farm, a small holding in Morningstar. This initiative combines land and animal care with specialized support, creating a safe space where young adults are understood, fully supported, and protected—allowing them to experience peace and a sense of belonging.
At Anselm Farm, young adults engage in skills development and income-generating activities, such as producing organic fruits and vegetables, raising free-range chickens for eggs, and composting. These activities foster social and emotional growth as they interact with peers and mentors.
We recognize that many young adults may remain in our care due to their unique needs or lack of alternative support. For these individuals, Home of Hope is dedicated to walking alongside them for life. Additionally, the farm serves as a safe daytime environment for young adults with special needs, allowing them to participate in meaningful activities while returning to a loving home in the evenings.
All products produced at Anselm Farm are sold to support its sustainability, ensuring that we can continue providing these valuable services.
